Who Wore Versace to the Met?

The Met Gala is one of the most anticipated events in the fashion calendar, and this year’s theme was “Camp: Notes on Fashion”. The red carpet was filled with celebrities dressed in their best and most extravagant outfits. Among them were some of the biggest names in fashion, including those who wore Versace.

Lady Gaga was undoubtedly one of the most talked-about stars at the Met Gala. She arrived at the event wearing not one, but four different Versace ensembles.

Her first outfit was a hot pink gown with an oversized bow and train that required several handlers to help her up the stairs. Gaga then stripped down to a black strapless gown, before revealing a third look – a pink column dress with a 25-foot train that she carried behind her like a princess. Finally, she ended the night in lingerie-inspired black bodysuit complete with fishnet stockings and sky-high platform boots.

Another celebrity who made headlines for her Versace ensemble was Kendall Jenner. The model wore an orange feathered dress from Versace’s Fall 2019 collection. The dress featured a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit, which Kendall paired with strappy heels and simple jewelry.

Donatella Versace – who is often seen wearing her own designs – also attended the event in a stunning head-to-toe metallic silver ensemble from her eponymous label.

Other celebrities spotted wearing Versace included Celine Dion, who wore a shimmery bodysuit with matching thigh-high boots, as well as Irina Shayk, who donned a beaded green gown from Versace’s archives.

Overall, it’s clear that Versace was a popular choice among celebrities attending this year’s Met Gala. From Lady Gaga’s four outfit changes to Kendall Jenner’s feathered dress, it’s safe to say that the Italian fashion house made a big impression on the red carpet.
