The Silhouette Basic and Business Edition are two versions of the popular cutting machine. Both have a wide range of features, but there are some differences between them.

Software: The Silhouette Basic Edition comes with the Silhouette Studio software, which offers basic features such as cutting, tracing, and drawing. The Business Edition comes with the upgraded version of the software, which includes advanced features such as Rhinestone Tools and Print & Cut.

Design Store: The Silhouette Basic Edition includes access to the Silhouette Design Store, where users can purchase designs to cut.

The Business Edition gives users access to the store as well as access to additional design packs at a discounted price.

Blade Type: The Silhouette Basic Edition uses a standard blade for cutting materials up to 2mm thick. The Business Edition has an upgraded blade that can cut thicker materials up to 3mm thick.

Materials: Both versions of the machine can cut a variety of materials including vinyl, cardstock, fabric, and more. However, the Business Edition has some additional capabilities such as being able to cut leather and wood.
