Step 1:
Gather the necessary supplies for this project. You will need transfer paper, an inkjet printer, and a Silhouette Cameo machine.
Step 2:
Design your decal in the Silhouette Design Studio software. Make sure that your design is set up to fit the size of transfer paper you will be using. The design must also be mirrored in order for the inkjet-printed design to be transferred correctly.
Step 3:
Print out your design onto the transfer paper using an inkjet printer. Be sure that the print settings are set appropriately so that your image will print out correctly.
Step 4:
Cut out your design by loading the transfer paper into your Silhouette Cameo machine. After selecting “Cut Edge” from the “Cut Settings” menu, press “Send to Silhouette” and watch as your Cameo cuts out your design.
Step 5:
Once your design has been cut out, use a weeding tool or craft knife to remove any excess material from around the edges of your design.
