How Do You Tie a Louis Vuitton Tie?

If you have just bought a Louis Vuitton tie and are wondering how to tie it, you have come to the right place. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the steps on how to tie a Louis Vuitton tie.

Before we begin, it is important to note that there are several ways to tie a tie. However, for this tutorial, we will be using the classic Windsor knot.

Step 1: Drape the Tie

Start by draping the tie around your neck with the wide end on your right side and the narrow end on your left side. Make sure that the wide end is about 12 inches longer than the narrow end.

Step 2: Cross Wide End over Narrow End

Take the wide end of your tie and cross it over the narrow end near your neck.

Step 3: Bring Wide End Up and Over Loop

Bring the wide end up and over the loop around your neck.

Step 4: Bring Wide End Down Through Loop

Next, bring the wide end down through the loop around your neck.

Step 5: Cross Wide End Over Narrow End Again

Cross the wide end over the narrow end again, but this time bring it up and over towards your right shoulder.

Step 6: Bring Wide End Up Through Loop

Bring the wide end up through the loop around your neck from underneath.

Step 7: Bring Wide End Down Over Knot

Bring the wide end down over the knot you have just created.

Note:

At this point, you should be able to see a small triangle formed by both ends of your tie just below your chin.

Step 8: Tuck Wide End Behind Narrow End

Tuck the wide end behind the narrow end on your left side.

Step 9: Bring Wide End Up and Over Loop

Step 10: Bring Wide End Down Through Front Loop

Bring the wide end down through the front loop you have just formed.

Step 11: Adjust and Tighten Knot

Adjust and tighten your knot by pulling gently on both ends of your tie. Make sure that the knot is centered and sits snugly against your collar.

Note:

If your tie is too long or too short, adjust it accordingly by repeating steps 8 to 11 until you reach your desired length.
